Guys before getting into debates we need to distinguish between a manager and a head coach Sir Alex, Wenger and Ancelotti etc are managers... Klopp Pep Mourinho etc are coaches... The game has evolved and also very few ppl can do a manager role... Sir Alex took a club that was in the doldrums and made into a not only the most successful club in the world in terms of trophies, he made it the worlds most valuable sports franchise worth billions. Coaches walk into clubs where the structure for talent id,transfer, finances and other resources are already setup... I remember KDB was signed already while Pellegrini was in charge for pep.. If you say pep has impacted the game and hence the greatest coach... I personally feel Klopp and Jose better cos they have achieved the same or more with lesser resources

Wasn’t he the 22yr old striker to drop kicked Martinez out of his starting spot in the World Cup bc the manager saw how versatile he was and more importantly, Messi wanted Alvarez up top as a partner? When Messi says he wants Alvarez in the World Cup next to him leading the line all the way through the tournament including the final (and he scored goals throughout the knockout stages too), I think it’s pretty hard to argue he’s not a WC player.
