I personally think this is one of the times lenerd needed to apologise to sheldon, firstly at the beginning sheldon was trying to be understanding of lenerds feelings, it wasn't Sheldon's fault they didn't put lenerds name on the paper and sheldon did call the magazine to try and get them to change it. I like moments like these where it shows Bernadette isn’t just mean spirited just for the sake of being mean. She is very spiteful on occasions but under it all you can see deep down she’s a good gal to be tied down to. And her giving Leonard and Sheldon the talking down should have happened sooner. So I think she was actually rather patient at letting a few things slide. But was disrespectful being there for an emotional time with a friend. And making the night about you. I think the only thing I didn’t agree on in this scene was Leonard not letting it go sooner. As his character is normally the one that has all his friend backs and supportive in times of distress. So felt out of character that he would still bring it up at the dinner. Sheldon you expect it from not out of malice but because he is thoughtless a times.
