As I indian living abroad (Europe), so many of my friends watch all these BBT, Gabriel Iglesias, Rusell Peter "accent imitations" and they're just really nonsensical, unrealistic and basically racist. And to group all of many indian accents (a country with over 30 official languages) into one big 'Indian accent haha look so funny' is just plain dumb. Not to mention that none of these videos actually have an actual normal educated indian speaking in them, just other nationalities.

Learn Sanskrit abugida first than teach us . Listen we have three T and three Th . ट , त , द stand for T and थ, ठ, द stand for th . In same way ड, द for d and ड, ढ for d and ढ़, ध, ड़ for dh . So when an indian mouth makes sound , it's very difficult for non abugida listeners to understand pronunciation of word because they aren't familiar with abugida pronunciation.

Agreed. Very few Indians can few with a US accent because....... a lot of them were born in India and those who speak with a near-American/proper American accent are those who went and settled/are working abroad for 5+ years or those who have been working in jobs where they are with touch with the US customers on a very regular basis thereby picking up their accent. I would really like the US folks to try one Indian language and see how they fare :)
