You can really see how busted Kazuya's invincibility is in this MU. Yoshi would normally be trading in some of these interactions but Kazuya bulldozes through

He doesn't have any invincibility. At best he has partial intangibility. Yoshi would be winning in the trades due to his busted frame data in mobility but the intangibility balances it out

Grabs are not the best vs Kazuya, because they lose to ewgf in many consistent ways. Egg throw zoning is probably the most beneficial way to beat Kazuya in neutral w Yoshi tbh, because it makes it easier to whiff punish Kazuya

I think I actually played "Burst" online last month. I've been told I'm a pretty good player and it is true I usually win against my opponents but Burst gave me the HANDS online. Call it John's or not I'd rather face Kazuyas and Steve over the worst characters in this game via Yoshi and Luigis. That being said, his skill was 10/10 as much as I can't stand dinos and green plumbers.

Game 2 last stock Burst did a committal option. *EDIT: But then cleaned it up game 3!* Pros don’t commit. Was completely unnecessary. Other wise, I can tell he’s been studying Yoshidora. He played wayyyyy more like him then usual when it comes to the options he chooses and percents. He also needs to work on exploiting situations in which it’s actually difficult to move Kazuya in the way the play wants to acknowledge the situation….Yoshi has the mobility to do it.

I was surprised how often Riddles would recover high out of disadvantage for fear of being up air comboed, but it'd just prolong how much time he was unsafe. He started to down air instead towards the end, but at times where he was already too high to safely connect. Maybe a downward air dodge, or neutral air dodge would have been good for the mixup

Never. The main difference is one character takes a ton of time and skill to master and the other is Bayonetta. If Kazuya were that busted we would see more top players than Riddles using him already

Not really, i only do that for Steve. They may both be busted Af, but there is a clear difference in skill needed and is shown by comparing the amount of players playing each character and the amount of events won by them (Also, its interesting to see what people come with to defeat steve, its not pure hatred)

Kazuya is not an easy character to play on Riddles' level. I play him, and even played other fighting games including Tekken. He takes skill and timing to use on this level. Only time Kazuya should get juggled or spiked or whatever is if he's out played. Seriously, Kazuya has weakness that can be exploited, it's just Riddles compensates for those shortcoming, as a top tier player should.
