The more I see these mystery boxes opened on the channel, the more skeptical I get about them. Jab's voice inflection is pretty easy to read and it was easy to tell he was somewhat disappointed with a couple of these packs. I think I would rather take my chances at a card show where I can deal with the owner face to face. That's just my opinion guys and gals.

I really enjoy Mystery Box Monday! I'll often try some of the mystery packs after Jabs runs through them and have occasionally had some luck. Thank you Jabs for everything you do for the hobby and keep the MBM videos coming

Thank you for reviewing the Bull Box Baseball Series 1! As mentioned in last week's MBM video, I updated the listing since sending this box in for review (Labor Day weekend) to at least 2 hits in the singles hit pack and increased price by $5. This box only had two #'d cards as the hits, however, the others will have at least an auto or mem/relic as part of the two minimum. I will also honor the $49.99 price for the Jabs family. Hey there! They have 2022 Topps Platinum Anniversary hobby and hobby lite. We updated the listing to get a minimum of 2 hits per singles hit pack. Unfortunately, the box Jabs received didn't have an auto or mem, which I grabbed at random. The other boxes should have at least an auto and/or mem/relic. Majority of the value comes from the packs (not necessarily what is inside the pack). We are hoping to insert slabs from top authenticators as part of the singles hit pack in the next series while keeping the price in the same ballpark.

@@theraptorsnest5891 yes, the cost per pack is built into the price of the box. For example, 2022 Topps Fire blaster are selling for $50 or so. Divided by 7 packs = ~$7 per pack. 2022 Topps Platinum Hobby packs are $6.95 at DA Card World, or about $6/pack out of a $140 hobby box. All items in the box are approximately the cost of the box, if not more. Hope that helps!

If you open the pack and there’s no good cards inside, is it still worth $20? No. If you open the pack and there’s a Mike Trout auto, is it still worth $20? No. It’s not that hard to understand…

@@Buckery Correct, but when I started watching Mystery Box Monday in 2021, folks used to send in thank you packs to show their appreciation because Jabs' does dedicate A LOT of time to the hobby. So, the "Thank You" pack is simply a goodwill gesture.

Thank you for your comment. I was a bit disappointed in the box he received as well, but safe to say I didn't give him a hype box and leave everyone else out to eat dust. Since sending that box in right before Labor Day weekend, I have updated the hits to two minimum and inserted an auto, mem, relic, or patch auto, along with a numbered card. A few may still have numbered only hits in them, but I recall mixing in low #'d (/99 or less) with #'d above /99. I'm taking feedback into consideration for Series 2, which will have a slab checklist, a few top-loaded singles, and a few packs (hobby, mega, blaster, and vintage) while keeping a similar price range. If you're interested in the Bull Box reviewed in this video, I'd be happy to work out a discount for you. Thanks, and have a pleasant week.

There's nothing wrong with hand signed autographs, autographs inserted into packs have turned out to be fake as well. Some athletes are really responsive when you write to them.

Bills City box was just that bull. Idk why ppl buy retail if they can't rip it. Personally I think mystery boxes should be ripped cards that's have been bought or pulled or hobby packs only. Leave the retail on shelves for kids and ppl who can't afford hobby boxes or cases of things. If you need money that bad get a real job.
