This series dives deep into the seas to discover stunning stories of New Zealand's native ocean animals. We travel south to north, exploring six very special environments: 1 The great white shark versus little blue penguins in the southern oasis of Stewart Island 2 A fur-seal summer off New Zealand's wild west coast 3 A day out with the athletic Dusky Dolphins of Kaikoura; 4 Quality time with the big old snapper and crayfish of Goat Island; 5 Drama in the egg nurseries of the stunning Poor Knights Islands as parents try to protect their young, 6 And predator versus prey as surfing Orcas travel the golden harbors of Northland, searching for their stingray victims. The range and behaviors of these species in such close proximity is fascinating; from the giant to the tiny and the acrobatic to the rock scrapers - there is plenty of action in these aquatic communities.

This is phenomenal! Never have I seen more interesting facts, presented in a whole different way. The Octopus with her babies is precious... Hopefully, more people will watch this and leave these lovely creatures alone before they also become extinct. Plus, people die from eating it because the suckers attach to the throat and mouth on the way down.

This was such an innovative approach to the topic! I truly loved every second of it. The way the story unfolded, connecting the majestic beauty of the Balkan Lynx to both personal memory and national heritage, was captivating. The vivid description of seeing the lynx in the wild, with its piercing eyes and powerful presence, brought the experience to life. It wasn’t just a story about an animal but about the deep bond between people and nature, a symbol of the wild beauty that still exists within North Macedonia.

1:49 It's crazy to think we're just a more extreme version of this. Marine mammals deserve our complete allegiance.

We're not we're created in the image of God. We have free will to observe his laws or not. We have intelligence that allows us to create many forms of entertainment such as what we're watching now. We have more intimate relationships than just a mating experience to produce off spring. We set up law systems supposedly for justice for victims. We are more than any animal that just eats and breeds for survival.

Stingrays have strong self-defense abilities with poisonous spines and the ability to swim quickly. The fight between whales and manta rays is often very dramatic, showing fierce competition for survival in the marine environment.
