This is my favorite mono in a while! So much banter, poor Scotty being embarrassed, Susan being the queen she is, the boss's boss, audience interaction, Reggie fixing bear problems, and James picking on Nick, who loves the attention even if he'll never admit it.

The complete and utter irreverance of this show is what makes it the greatest late night show. After watching him and Nick banter last year, i cannot watch any other late night show. Bravo to les grands fromages for letting this continue and leaning into it. The way the crew became the audience was the one good thing to come out of the pandemic. Genius.

Priceless! Nick Bernstein takes it all so well. I still cant get over the transition of his short hair look to now. This is so much better than any monologue as is done on the other talk shows. These people are so funny together. And it is so great seeing the camera pan from one to the other. Nick's boss' name is George Cheeks. He must have been kidded for his last name and still probably is. Just love it when the show starts this way.!

I think this clip demonstrates a way Corden can differentiate himself. I love world/politics news humor…but it can get repetitive. This internal office “bit” reminds me of the coolest parts of the Stern show only not ill-tempered. I’d love to see this much more often. James can pull it off on late night as he is so affable.

Grizzlies and local people get along just fine. It's when people who aren't familiar with grizzlies go out on grizzly territory that problems happen. I was out on a solo hike and came across a group of fifteen terrified hikers and immediately knew grizzly. I asked if any of them had bear spray.... None of them did. I had two cans because I'm not an idiot; it was a ten km hike to a lake through alpine fields in grizzly territory, and a ten km hike back. I evaluated the grizzly, stood on a rock, banged my hiking poles over my head, and the bear just wandered back into the woods. Everyone in the group had no idea what to do next, I explained the lake is that way and the bear wasn't behaving dangerously so we could all walk in line toward the lake, one person at the front with a can of bear spray and one with a can at the back. No problems getting to the lake, and back again. I'm not saying that no grizzly is dangerous, as I've been charged at by one through some bush and bramble, and it was the most terrifying thing I've ever witnessed first hand.
