Made me tear up there, Kim. What a story with a happy ending. I lost my close friend two years ago to breast cancer; she was only 42. Catch it early and don't be afraid to go to your GP even for a little concern. It can save your life.

Thank you for your video, I've been through this a few decades ago. I had been to 4 GPs before being sent for tests, as I wasn't happy with the first three diagnosis. I was told I had C, and asked why I hadn't come sooner , as it was so far advanced? Long story short, I had a great team of specialists that got me through, checking up on me every year, telling me to stay positive. and at he end of 7 years was told I didn't have to come back, and honestly they didn't think I would last a year when first diagnosed. Stay positive Kim, and enjoy your life,.( also from Melbourne)

Thank you for sharing your experience. Have to share that my father had breast cancer also (never even knew men can get it) and he passed away 25 years later from totally unrelated cause = it can be beaten. Also I saw then, and when my sister in law had MS how everyone was asking about the sick person and the spouse was almost never asked how they were doing. Not taking away from Kim (I think she was very brave and went through a lot) but I want to say great of, and fo you Gavin. By the way, love the cheese channel. Have started making cheese myself and going to share on the channel soon

Watching Gavin’s hello curd nerd greeting, cheese making and cheese jokes, I always sensed the guy was a top bloke. And Kim appears to be equally lovely. I salute you both for being so open and courageous for sharing your story and emotions. You’re both braver and better people than I will ever be.
