Brian Moore sadly missed and a legend of broadcasting. I remember this episode as a teenager. Mad to think United beating the at the time European champions 🏆

My first time going to Old Trafford this....almost 8 and had a seat with my dad in the Sir Alex Stand. I don't remember much about the game except the bright yellow strip of Forest and the noise when we scored. Surreal watching this on KZbin though. Thanks for uploading.

This was the first season I got into football, so these players are ingrained in my memory. I can recall the players of both Man U and Forest more than I could tell you the current incumbents.

This program has to be up there as one of the best in 1979,I wasn’t born in this time, I heard so many good stories about the program and the set up of course,why can’t match of the day do this?.It would be a great Christmas program to watch,Brian Moore was more than a presenter,he was brilliant man,better than Gary Lineker. I really enjoyed watching the program on ITV 4 this week.The best program ever.

My uncle told me a story of how he took the day off work to watch the opening match on TV of Mexico 86. He turned the match off before it finished as he was fuming about the dirty play and deliberate leg hacking and pushing that was going on. Nothing like how you see how these men played

Football is not football no more. Watched a match Man city v Man Utd the other day city won 6.3 not problem with that except players rolling around when there tackled. Players getting paided ridiculous amounts of money. Its not same as the good all days. Football used to be free when your watched it on tv. Now its Sky. Miss the big match.

Watching these just shows how sanitised football crowds have become Can only put it down to how a predominantly working class crowd was compared to the asinine middle class crowd of today.
