Such a famous ride but honestly it doesn't look that great. Those "hills" are more long long straights and wow that MCBR really slows it down. Im sure its fun but this just seems so outdated now in our world of B&M and Intamin hypers Id still love to get to the UK and ride this classic though

@@BIGNOIDS Blackpool is my favorite place in England. A working-class resort where one hears Monty Python accents everywhere. And what can compare with the humongous plastic figures suspended above the Promenade? Even the homemade candles looked obscene! The place is so deliciously tacky from stem to stern. Blackpool is also a popular gay holiday destination. Mebbe because it has the best roller coasters in the UK. Had the best Vindaloo dinner ever in a rather pretentious Indian restaurant. Mustn't forget the over-the-top festival of lights in October to extend the season. A shithole to you; a delight to the rest of us. BTW, I'm American.

my first go - it stopped on the mid-course brakes, because the other train was jammed at the station. My dad is a bastard! There was a teenage girl in the row in front - she thought she was about to die and was in hysterics,. My dad turns to me, and says as loud as possible - "looks like we've had it son - this never ends well ..." ... I gave him the "shut up - that's not fair" face.

There is a 3D "Rig" of GoPro you can attach to a helmet or whatever. (I myself have used an own rig with two Bullet-HD cams attached to a helmet with a central heating clasp for filming 3D in Coasters).

Still, out of all the coaster class of 1994 (on the UK certainly) Nemesis is the best. This ride may be tall but I think it lacks the pacing that Nemesis has and is really just about the first drop. Still, I'm looking forward to riding. :)
