Good discussion. But the star of the show was Mr Satya Prakash. The other 2 panellists were defensive & somewhat subjective.

It is better not to call justice sodhi. He always seems political and biased. Kudos to satya prakash sir.

Unpopular opinion : Tracy is far better anchor than Frank. Instead of reacting to what guests are saying, Frank moves forward in the debate in an artificial pre-planned manner. Also, he has certain placeholder stock responses which he deploys not based on the appropriateness of the situation, but because he has nothing else to add. His summaries towards the end are also not comprehensive as he merely repeats the last point being made. There is also a knowledge deficit that Frank carries, which is reflected in lack of insightful questioning from his side. Tracy, on the other hand, is a natural communicator, reacts to points being made on the debate, and has better knowledge base. Obviously, it is not a competition, and both are different individuals. But Frank could maybe up his game further, learning from Tracy.

True that structural issue of interrelationship b/w the three organs is some what skewed but then like any relationship it's to be pondered by other members too, namely, Legislature & Executive.

Not to talk about politics or something, but if the NJAC had not been squashed it would have been a grave threat to the autonomy of judiciary, where there would be infringing of judiciary by legislature. Have to agree with the legal luminaries that the judiciary jus stepping in to do the politicians work who are wasting parliamentary time ......jus see wats happening in the parliament now.....

Which decision is right and which decision wrong it depends upon its result .If one decision gives wrong result then we all say SC has over reached . I think sc has not been overreached since 1950 but yes it is also true that many of times sc has given verdicts without knowing GROUND REALITY.SC has to think itself to change according to time and situation because sc enjoys lots of power without accountability. That's it.
