I am hailing from Assam and in our intermediate course there is a subject called Environmental studies. I don't think it was given any importance by the teachers as well as students. There is very much negligence regarding environment in our country. Every year during new year season lakhs of people venture out for picnic in Bhutan. But what we did there is very shameful. We must have to change our habit to protect environment.
@sudiptaranjanpatra18766 жыл бұрын
Actually that problem is common all across our country. Positive thing is that we have started feeling guilty for littering garbage. Sure it will take a long time but hey better late than never.

I agree with you, environment was just studied for the sake of scoring easy marks

I am from a village in haryana. About 10 years ago water was a scarce commodity here. There used to be govt water supply once a day through underground pipelines. Women arguement was a common scene those days. Now lot has changed. Every house house have govt water supply plus borewell connections. Electricity supply hours and its quality has also increased. Now lot of water goes to drains as there are no taps to stop water flow. Groundwater level is going down and seems to have no concerns. I think, we Indians are most irresponsible people. We have respect for a thing till it is scarce or have heavy consequences for ignorance. Every environmental issue has same story. We should make strict laws and implement them by letter. Suggestions : *Regulate sale of fossil fuel vehicles strictly. *promote use of bicycles and public transportation in cities *ban entry of outside vehicles in cities *teach environmental science as core subject to all giving practical knowledge till graduation. * concentration of industries in some cities only should be avoided.
@shivraj37706 жыл бұрын
Fossil fuel cannot be regulaled until new tech comes in...even environment science is now a compulsory in many colleges
@SurenderKumar-ge7sb6 жыл бұрын
@@shivraj3770 but sales of vehicles can be regulated. Every family need not to have more than car in cities. Rural areas don't have that much cars. Environmental education and sevices should be mandatory, even during jobs.
@sereneguy18046 жыл бұрын
Surender Kumar why private jobs (companies) will do this it will degrade productivity and also even whn therr will be strict laws they will do fomality then . wht u want a exam of environment in job?

I’m just curious about how R. Suresh could hear Frank without headphones. Speakers don’t help much either outdoors. I’ve seen participants indoors use headphones to listen to the debate.
@curiouscase6 жыл бұрын
Hey... Good observation. There are two possibilities. First, he might be using earphone from backside which is not clear in video. Now, the only possibility remains is, a phone or speaker is placed in front of him(which is out of camera sight) through which he is listening the debate and answering the questions as and when addressed to him. are you related to Sarvanand Sonowal?? 🤣 Anyway, you look beautiful!!!

At the end of the debate government is blamed which isn't correct because the same government has taken the decision to start with BS-VI emission norms by April 1st 2020. And more to that the court judgement has striked down the extension demanded by "Greedy" Automobile sector of INDIA. One should also understand the significance of rules and regulations regarding environmental issues or concerns rather than entirely blaming government for the sake washing our own dirty civil mindset.
