I found out about you guys by random chance about two weeks ago and have watched/listened to I shot the sheriff/Zion/Hip Hop, English Man in New York, Bongo Bong, and Paint It Black nonstop. For quite a few years I had stopped listening to music which was partially due to being do depressed and losing enjoyment in life due to certain circumstances in my life. When I saw you guys I was like wow this is so fun and exciting. These guys are so alive and in love with what they are doing. This is what I've been longing for so long. Then I was totally. gutted when I found out the band was no more and I was like fuck only if I had found them earlier I could have made the trip to England and seen them. I don't ever bother to comment on youtube but I would love to get to see you guys play in person. You guys made me realize that I want to really be alive rather than just staying existing each day.

The past few months I've lived with my worst depression, and a couple months into it I got cut off pain meds after 5 neck/back surgeries and 20 years of pain. I never dreamt this would happen, but my Arkansas is trying to phase pain meds out. The last cut put me at 1/7 th of what made it tolerable to do the basics, I took an extra half at times and came up short, two strikes, you're out. Months later still trying to find a Dr. who can help me. Oh, the withdrawls. I was totally unprepared for that. I'd had Oxy withdrawls before, but the morphine made that look easy. It was only 15 mg. over 12 hours`, extended release. Thought it would be easy since I'd drug out my last few. Then came the anxiety of losing my independence. I was spinning out several times a day, and my mind wasn't going to happy places. My Dr. couldn't help me, her hands were tied. She prescribed my pain meds for 12 years but could do nothing to ease the withdrawls. I begged for a psych referral, then had to wait weeks to get in. I got so bad I called again to see if they could get me in sooner. For some reason I was hanging onto that appt. like it was going to heal me. I developed 6 new pinched nerves and my upper back felt like a switchboard lighting up. I'm going to pay for staying on here longer than I have in months. Rhomboid muscles are protesting. Like my shrink, seeing her monthly now. I' m in a Spravato(esketamine) trial now. Only 2nd week but I'm hopeful. If nothing else I get to float, pain free for 45 min. twice a week. Got a new MRI last week, waiting to hear results. Min concerns are my neck and lower back but the plate in my neck and 4 rods in back get in the way of good imaging. Bottom of two lower rods dig at me since I lost 50 lb. last year, just lost my appetite. I could spare it, but it took fat away from the rod, I can clearly feel the end of one just under the skin. Every time I hitch my pants up I feel it. Hope the MRI shows something that can be helped, but no more surgery, of any kind. Not on the restrictions they've put on pain meds. Not getting online like I used to I sit in front of the TV with my hot packs, heating pad, ice packs. I can't concentrate much of the time so I stay on You Tube. I'd been watching The Big Push a couple years. I love watching them preform, they look so joyful and compliment each other perfectly. The "Hi Ren" came out And I got hooked on watching reactors react to "Hi Ren" and every day there are more. Ren's work is finally getting the attention it deserves. Most of the reactors are "going down the Ren rabbit hole" and playing more videos. He is finally getting his music out globally, as he set out to do. I do envy his perseverance and acceptance.

The thing with you guys is this: this - the street-is absolutely where you should be. This allows everything to be as it should. The proximity between everyone involved takes this "playing music" to the highest level possible, musicians, audience, passers-by or bis drivers. This is the purest and most loving Form of performing, and you are absolute masters at it. The other thing is that at the same you your are so good, it feels like the biggest stages should be yours. I believe that what you did was perfect in many ways, and has surely also sheltered you from getting sucked into the big business and its poisonous snakes. I just watched the MAGA reactor Knox Hill interview of Ren and found out that Ren is a Capitalism sympathizer, which really surprised me because so many of his songs and The Big Push's song seem to have anti-capitalistic nods. Are the other members of The Big Push, hypocrite Capitalism nut cuppers as well? I sure hope not, I got such great vibes from them but if they are sellouts just like Ren then I will be done with them too.
