Huh I feel like something is wrong with how the AK story was told...they were my favorite band, so I remember lots of details. Tash didn't leave just nine months after giving birth when she realized she had post-partum depression, she had another baby and AK released three more albums. Anyway, I always loved them, she and Liz have such great voices. Also, Kerry is the worst.

Yes, it's not as uncommon as you think. My Cousin moved to America from Canada in 1969 and when My Father saw her after a year he couldn't believe how different she sounded. It also happened with a Guy who escaped to The UK from The US who was running from a Crime he said he didn't commit. His Family first saw and heard him in a Clip in Five Years and they were stunned at how he sounded like a Brit.

What Jimmy and Spike did was similar to Jody Watley, Jeffrey Daniels and Howard Hewitt did as Dancers on Soul Train that lead to Shalamar. Jody of course had a successful Solo Career and sang on Do They Know It's Xmas. She also made History by becoming the First African American to play Rizzo in Grease on Broadway. Others would be Jasmine Guy (A Different World), and even Queen Latifah. Mikey Craig of Culture Club helped Jermaine Stewart get his foot in the Door when he sang backup on Miss Me Blind. He had hit records like "The Word Is Out" and "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off" which was voted by US Glamour Magazine as an excellent song to promote Safe Sex along with Janet Jackson's "Let's Wait Awhile." It was later covered by CLEA the ladies who weren't chosen to be in Girls Aloud.

Right On! Did you ever see the Documentary with Aaron Carter and Financial Advisor Victor Antonio. He couldn't understand why his finances were in such a mess. At 18 he had to declare bankruptcy so his Parents who stole from him wouldn't go to Prison. Then they had to bring in a Forensic Accountant to show Aaron there was "Missing" Money that was being spent, and he freaked out. It was his Manager Jason who was stealing from him. Also Aaron was generous to the point I bet he "treated" his "Friends" aka "The Leeches" to Meals at Five Star Restaurants.

A lot of british acts never made it big in the US so it's no wonder you haven't heard of 911 before esp. since they broke up in the year 2000. A classic example of a world famous group that never made it big in the US is Westlife. They sold more than 50 million albums and had consecutive numbers in the UK and other countries but they never made it in the US,

Tameka "Tiny" Cottle of Xscape all but gave up her career for her Ex Husband TI. She did a Show called The Encore on BET (Black Entertainment Television) where she and other Girl Group Icons from the 1990's early 2000's decided to do a Reunion Show to make a comeback. Other Girl Group Icons were also part of the show, and it was a flop because they didn't come back. Xscape are doing a reunion Show with SWV (Sisters With Voices) but it's more out of necessity than choice. Them, TLC, En Vogue, and Xscape had so much drama and many came out of their celebrity with nothing.
