Thank you for taking the time to explain the interaction between Wei Ying and Nie. I never understood why Wei Ying reprimanded Nie, and how Wei Ying said he doesn't associate with evil. I always found that a bit hypocritical, considering Wei Ying also committed acts that resulted in tragic results. But now that I see Nie was actually working with Xue Yang, his line makes much more sense. Wei Ying was warning him not to associate with evil, the evil being Xue Yang. Wei Ying never compromised his morals in the name of fairness and justice. While Nie acted in the name of revenge for his brother. It's crazy how similar but fundamentally different these two characters ended up being.

Yes, Sweet Jun. The same thing happened to me. Initially I watched the drama just for lwjxwwx. Then the plot twists and chains of event hooked me in along with Director Nie's scheming... I always thought Wei Ying's last words to Director Nie was a reminder. That he will not be a friend to Director Nie's anymore if he ever found him guilty of any crime. So the sentences can also be interpreted this way too. Instead of blaming Director Nie as a bad person, reprimand him instead for allying with a bad person. Thank you for your hard work. I always thought (just my personal opinion) it hade multiple messages. After all WWX is smart and knows NHS will understand. I always thought he first of all is expressing that they can't be friends anymore since WWX isn't trustful and I think worried that NHS will go too far with his scheming one day (like JGY did in a way) and that he already went maybe too far in a way by endangering the youngsters in his Yilling Arc Scheme for example and using and destroying lan Xichen. That is something which WWX isn't easily forgiving/looking past it. So basically he tells him that he knows what NHS did and that he didn't fool him in the end, scolds him for his actions in a way/allying with XY, canceling the friendship in a way and telling him not to continue his schemes and get lost in them/become powerhungry in a way. That is what I always thought

even with sub I need to watch several times. This one his particulary hard to understand!!! Characters and purposes and the fact that WWX was hifdden and not dead while LZ searched for him so long!!! that's very unexpected. but I still have a hard time understanding the hidden goals, the alliances, the desires of each and the role of certain characters in this story. I warmly applaud the author because it really becomes a complex novel and a mystical, criminal, adventurous story, far beyond the simple BL that we wanted to lend it at the beginning

There won't be anymore seasons. The untamed has officially ended. I would like to recommend The Heaven's official Blessing by the same author of the Untamed. It is her 3rd story published. It's really good. There are about 244 chapters (Completed & translated). Beautifully written. I can't wait for Heaven's official blessing to air as well. For now, I'll just watch the untamed clips and sometimes rewatch some eps. Guess, I still can't move on. Heaven's official Blessing and The Untamed are my fav love story. Ya'll should give it a try as well.

Hi, thank you for the explanation. Xueyang and Nie Huisang both are an opportunist, but bc of education and family's love, they act differently. Thou sharing the same ambitions, Huisang didnt kill people mercilessly like Xueyang did. But his association with evil shows how far he can go to take revenge and dishonour the person he disguised. That's why wwx has a high respect to lz, not bc of love only but the purity of his spirit. Spiritually, lz is full of genuine desire and always act accordingly. Yanli knew his a-xian isn't a bad person bc of lz. I am crying ok.

其實，是魏嬰對聶二的勸告才對。 聶二後來很明白的說了，他是一個識趣的人，該自己做的事他會親自去做，但是不該自己做的事情他也做不來。 聶二知道自己能力有限，論武力及勢力值鬥不過金光瑤和蘇涉，論對鬼道及陰邪之物的了解及控制比不過薛洋和魏嬰，所以他自己拼盡全力也只找到一個聶大的刀靈（這是按電視劇版本，小說裡是一個左手），而這一樣怨氣深重的東西如同燙手山芋一樣，聶二用盡方法都快要握不住了。 所以，聶二才決定退居幕後，讓專業人士來解決專業問題。電視劇裡頭，他是利用薛洋想復活曉星辰的願望來幫助他偷魏嬰及聶大屍身出來，而他答應替莫玄羽報仇，以此交換其心甘情願使出捨身咒。 從這個角度來看，聶二不算姦邪，他雖然把無辜小輩牽扯到一些危險場合（比如莫家莊及義城），但其實他很負責任的也把兩個“專業人士”一起丟過去當娃兒們的保姆去了。 這雖然是一種利用所有人的舉動，其實也是一種“洗白”魏嬰名聲的方式，因為魏嬰的惡名昭彰很多是被謠傳的，但是解開誤會的希望，可以借著保護及近身教導來化解，少年的成見和心機總是沒有那麼深的。 所以，後來金光瑤把小輩們抓去亂葬崗，引發眾人又去圍剿魏嬰時，小輩（特別是已經在義城被救過一次的那批小輩）都是願意站在魏嬰那邊為他說話的，再加上聶二帶頭躲進陣法裡頭避禍，才能夠換取時間揭穿蘇涉的陰謀。 所以，最後魏嬰說“不可結交姦邪”，是說明他知道聶二是一個心思深沉之人，如果只是為報殺兄之仇的這段設計，他們可以不計較被利用。但如果後來又發現他利用他人來滿足私慾時，那就會被他們歸類成姦邪了。 所以，最後那句是一個警告，要聶二下不為例，他們就仍然可以當朋友。若有下次，就是連朋友都做不成了。（因為，他魏嬰和藍湛心中的紅線是“不可結交姦邪”）
