Dad needs to get a grapple fork on his loader. It really helps to move the loose hay. I got a grapple bucket to clean my customers horse barns. Saved me lots of time. Especially when I would drive from Minnesota to Nebraska to supply hay and clean barns.

Question for you please Tashia.... If you have a half alpaca/half llama cross, is this individual able to produce a cria?

Yes, she can. I’ve decided that if I choose to breed her, I will breed her to a llama. I think she has more valuable qualities as a llama than an alpaca. I don’t want the dual fiber coat to continue on in an alpaca line. It’s just not a good fiber practice.

He has recovered from M worm, but he was not received back by the male herd. I will be fixing up our middle pasture for him to stay in permanently. And I’ll put some other boys in there with him. Those who were not trying to kill him, anyway.
