The new workbench looks great. I reckon it was worth the time spent on it. A proper man-cave in the making.

At last, this is what I've been waiting for. I know getting your internet was important but....😴 I have similar chunky bits of timber (funnily enough it came from a workbench) but it was so full of nails that I dare'nt put it anywhere near my planer/thicknesser. Instead I hammered it with the belt sander and made a garden bench seat from it. Anything you make that is not perfectly flat or straight you just call it 'Rustic' my favourite design style. Can't wait to see your coming building projects and the evolving workshop. 👍

Thanks I am glad you have stuck around if the internet wasnt quite up your street. Thats such a good idea putting it through the sander rather than the thicknesser!

Thanks, I used one as a speaker when I was working on the cars when I was younger and havent looked back. Its so satisfying cranking the volume with a proper physical knob.

Hi, great video, love the time lapse! Wouldn’t it be great if all jobs went that quick!! That bench looks too good. I’d have it for a table. One worry I have is that tin roof. Now you have all that gear in there, lights and will be working in there. When it’s cold outside it’s going to be raining off that roof. Maybe more than outside. I have a garage with a metal roof. Ended up having to put insulation under it to prevent the internal downpours during the winter. Just a thought! Great video, look forward to the next one. John in Halkirk

Thanks! I mentioned I had added waterproof connections somewhere in the middle but yea its going to rain on most of the stuff in the middle. I had looked into spray foam to cover the cieling but it was so expensive!

Hi a quick question about the sunsynk since you have set it up properly do you still have issues with it cutting out
@beyondtheworkbench4 ай бұрын
Not as much, it was pointed out to me that it was because my battery cables were too thin so they couldnt carry the full 8.8kw so its not the inverters fault.

@@beyondtheworkbench ok thanks for the reply I'm looking at getting the 8.8kw unit hoping it will be big enough for my needs

would be rude not to treat yourself to a new planer - also, with the gorilla glue... i've never had an issue with those bottles, you just have to pull it's little foreskin back when you're done and give it a wipe 🤣
