Myth: 😂 people think using Players cards or not using them..thinking the casino “knows” how much to pay them or how much players “spend”☺️🤭I like using the card for the rewards/perks (comp food/hotel rooms etc)✨🍀🎁

Great interview Jon. Marc and Dave are salt of the earth guys and do a real public service in trying to educate casual gamblers. Just remember you don’t have to marry the machine. If it’s not paying get up and move. Take the small loss because it owes you nothing. Gamble smart Gamble safe. Sometimes hit and runs are good. Enjoyed meeting Marc and Dave and enjoy watching NJ.

The fact that Marc reaches out every week trying to get ANYONE from the industry to get on camera and explain how this all works and not a single one is willing to do so is the very reason why people don’t trust this information and have some of these superstitions in the first place! if they have nothing to hide they would be more than happy to come forward and educate people!

I agree - it's an uphill battle. I've talked to so many people on the "inside" in the industry. A lot of them WANT to talk, but they would be putting their job on the line and we certainly don't want any harm to be done to them. We are hoping to provide to manufacturers, casinos and regulators that a more informed public could make for repeat customers.

@@DPo_Kat I couldn't agree more - I think they are just nervous. These big companies have entire press and legal departments that shut all that stuff down. I think our best bet will be someone that USED to work in the industry, that is no longer bound by any NDAs.

So you talked about getting "rinsed" on slots. It just happened to me and my wife at our local casino. She was down $200 and I was down $100, so it was time to stop. My biggest win was on the original top dollar (3 credit) 50c denom, about 5-6 spins in got the bonus and my first offer was 65 credits and said "take offer" so I did. Where I got rinsed was on video poker which I usually do decent on. Video poker is the best game for having a players edge and I still lost, so it doesn't just happen on slots even though some people think that.

The way this works is called “clustering”, if the RNG chose a “blank”, they can have it choose a blank on the reel that has a premium symbol above or below it. Their are limitations to how often this can occur though.

Question regarding the RNG and predetermined bonus wins/amounts vs. No player interaction changing these amounts when it comes to top dollar/double top dollar. If there is no player interaction used to determine the bonus payput, how does it factor in the winning bonus amount to choose a lower or higher one based on player interaction to make that choice?

On Top Dollar, the moment you trigger the bonus, the first offer has been pulled by the RNG. Each offer after the first one, it's pulled the moment you press the "Try Again" button. All offers on Top Dollar are separate and independent of previous offers.

Hey, was there a Native American casino in New Mexico last night and the power went out on game had played with a must buy hit progressive that was about four dollars away from hit number. The machine ran out of paper to print and how to be hand paid out to me my money in the machine. And these people were intentionally did not add paper to this particular machine, and I waited for quite some time for them to do maintenance on it, but they seem to delay it. I actually witnessed them reset and add paper to all the other machines surrounding it, but this particular machine that had the progressive that was about to hit. They skipped it. 😂
