My gift is caretaker. When people come into my life they always say no one has ever cared for me the way you do. That is always confirmation for me. It use to bother me because I felt like I was constantly pouring into people and not getting it back in return. But I began to realize how much God was pouring into me. I think sometimes we run from our gifts or don’t recognize them as such. But being in relation with God helps us discern.

My gift is listening. A lot of people are comfortable opening up to me. Even as a teenager, some grownups would come to me with their issues or situations. At first I didn’t understand it, but I understand now. It does get challenging from time to time, but I know even the best (Iike Moses) had to accept, endure, and find passion in their calling. I knew this was my calling when I saw the impact this had on others. It’s not always easy to listen, contrary to popular belief. But I’ve always suspected our gifts and callings have a lot to do with service to others rather than our own interests. That’s what Jesus was called to do.

After years of experience..I will make it short and sweet...if u want to know what ur calling/purpose is...1..keep in mind u may not know what ur purpose/calling is until later in life..( Abraham and Noah is a prime example of this) so be ok with that..2...if u close ur eyes..clear ur mind..and ask yourself..if money was not a issue, if location was not a issue, if u were not tied down to any responsibilities, ( work, family, kids, marriage ect)was not a issue.. if education was not a issue. ..what would u be what gives u passion, joy and happiness,..what would you do or be?..what ever that is..that's ur purpose/calling..( as long as it lines up with God's word and promises)...if its something u can accomplish on ur own..ur thinking to small..God's calling and purpose will always be to big for u to do without him..and will always be the complete opposite that ur current situation says..trust me on this one..

I'm currently experiencing the realization that one of my gifts may very well be public speaking! (This video is a tool God has used to help with this!!) Once I overcome the fear, (which God instructs us to do many many times throughout the Bible), I feel like I'm kind of a natural it. When I'm well rehearsed I actually relax and start to really enjoy it! Other people have always told me how great I am at it, and that I'm a natural. I was an extremely quiet and shy child, and the Lord miraculously opened doors for me to ultimately become a speech therapist. The irony! My brother has told me that the Lord really must want me to speak, for some reason... I've also been told that my actual voice is one that's great for speeches and public speaking. 😲🤗🙏🏽💖

God has gifted me with BlessedHandz to enhance the beauty of clients. I have a home salon and its set up to pamper one client at a time. We laugh together, have real talk and cry if need be. I pray over every client while washing their hair and if they have prayer requests, I'll pray aloud. I always speak LIFE to them & they leave my shop looking and feeling good each time! May all that I do always bring God Glory🙏🏾

Wow, thank you so much for allowing God to speak through you, and using your gifts to share with us. I have been going through it with this teaching job I'm currently in. It's the path I didn't want to go down but God opened up this path for me to continue down. My purpose in this season has gotten clouded by uncomfortable partnerships, working with people who are struggling and spreading their hurt onto me and others, wanting to lead but having to follow or lead in a different way. I have the support of others outside the space and a couple in the space but the words of others only last so long before I get tired of being around and dealing with the negativity. I also have dreams and gifts of creativity, fashion, style, and art that I would love to tap into but haven't been able to use any of those gifts yet in this space. So because I haven't gotten to use those gifts along with leading and teaching the way I know how, it's made me so frustrated. After hearing your words about purpose, I know I need to refocus and learn to follow less about the actual job and title and much more about how I can serve God in this space, in this season. My dreams of being a designer, a creative, and an artist will arrive probably sooner than I think but how am I using my purpose in this space. How am I letting others know the power of God in this space, the sacrifice and Jesus' name, with my words and the way I carry myself. When I return back to work tomorrow, I want to come in with the peace, the strength, my, God's purpose for my life written on my computer as a reminder to continue walking, seeking, and following God. Glorifying him, Enjoying him, Knowing more about Jesus, and making Jesus known! I'm staying the course!
