let the fish run develope pick up the rod and count to 7 to give the fish time to turn the bait and get the hook point in its mouth. Plus try an ordinary O'Shaunessy style hook in size 10/0, I found I missed less fish than with the circle hooks. They are OK for large cod etc but really not so much on shark,tope spur dog etc
