The BIGGEST Flathead I’ve Ever Seen - Crocodile Hunting In The Hawkesbury River - Fishing Australia

MASSIVE FLATHEAD. What an incredible day being up close and personal with the biggest croc I have ever seen. It was one of the most memorable experiences to have witnessed such an amazing animal being captured and safely release. She measured a fat 90cm on the dot (keep in mind my mate Lochie is an 100kg bloke) and swam away with a small kick. Great to see healthy fish that big around. How long is your biggest flathead?

That was disgraceful the lack of urgency with getting the fish back in the water. Fish was dry by the end of the photos and no wonder it went belly up on the release. Ive release a lot of flathead and havent seen a flatty do that. Also the way it was held with its head with no support under the belly. If your going to treat them like that there may aswell be no slot limit

@@spinkingsyd The fact that you say "get his head up" & your mate says "get it under him" & "look at the size of him" proves you didn't even know you were dealing with a heavily pregnant female. Given that you can't even immediately recognise that fact & have little regard for how long it was out of the water also shows that you don't know that nobody eats them at this size anymore (firstly because they're protected these days) & secondly because their dry flesh after morphing to female is not a good table fish flavour. Hopefully in further videos you learned something from me about a bit of large lizard fishing general etiquette.👍
