The plan was to get an INSANE amount of flea market rep but apparently, the extra rep was just a bug so I only got the normal amount since it took me so long to save up 196 wires that they patched it. Anyways thanks kovalev for being a good sport :)

Since wires get sold and bought really quickly, a lot of people will just hit buy on the lowest price offers without looking. The person in the video listed a huge bundle of an insane amount of wires, which, since it was technically cheaper per wire, ended up being the cheapest offer, and thus a poor soul accidentally ended up buying like 10x more wires than they'd ever need.

@mana3109 explained it well below. You can sell things on the flea market as a bundle like 8 wires for 80k and people wont be able to buy 1-8 but only 8 if they want to buy your offer.

Back when barters were still allowed on the flea market, you were able to put up a pack of 7 morphines for a dorms marked key and it would show up as the cheapest option per morphine since the game listed the marked key at ~70k rub and morphines float around 12-17k. Taking advantage of the fact that it's a quick sell item, this scam worked like a charm. Then BSG removed barters from the flea :(

Flea barters were fucking terrible. Tasks were legit locked and if you didnt find the key you basically couldn't do your tasks. Every fucking task key locked behind either a marked room or a colored key card. Its still hella expensive but at least now its obtainable

Me and my friends used barters only to trade with each other lmao. I said i needed a xeno, my friend said he needs x light bulbs and since we both got what other needed it was a fair trading game. Wish it could come back in that form but not aviable for shit like keys.

it wasn't a deal of 196 it was a Bundle. The whole purpose of bundles is to sell all of (whatever number) at once. 99% of people just sell their stuff normal so if they are selling 50 you can buy 1 but with bundles The seller is basically saying you can only buy it if you buy all of it

(max stash) 680 slots times 60 (in a stack) is 40,800. Unless during that time 995 stacked over 60 what you're saying is impossible. In one order that is he could have done it in 2 separate orders. Even then he probably didnt have it as a package deal because nobody has 400+ slots of space open and enough money for that.

I did get a lot but not exponentially more than normal, like the glitch used to be. For about a week or maybe 2, everytime you did a bundle sale on the flea market it would give you the rep of the whole bundle cost but multiply it by how many items were in that bundle so for my instance I would have gotten the equivalent of 196 TIMES 2 million roubles worth of flea rep.

so basically people sort the flea market by cheapest price which is usually about 10-15k per wire. Often times when you go to buy it there are SOOO many people buying it you press the one you want and confirm the purchase and it tells you "the item has already been sold" so you have to keep refreshing. Happens every wipe so a lot of people will just click the cheapest one as QUICK as they can and confirm purchase as QUICK as they can as well. Since mine were technically 9.5k per wire they were the cheapest PER wire and some level 20 player who was going fast trying to buy 1 of the cheapest wires accidentaly bought my 196 wires for 2 mil

Idk if you new about it but for a while there was a glitch with flea market rep and bundles where you would get exponentially more rep the more items you sold in a bundle. Thats what originally made me do this. If the glitch still worked by the time I sold the wires I would've gotten over 1k flea rep which is an insane amount. Basically the glitch was every item in the bundle counted as the price of the whole bundle for rep, so each wire out of 196 would've counted for 1.8 million sold to flea so like 400 million roubles worth of flea rep.

@PaccpEFT I can tell you're a novice at the flea market, a smart person would craft all those wires into corrugated hoses at level 20. Perhaps he is a hideout meta player like me and will soon be able to craft defibrillators with those wires. Both corrugated hoses and defibrillator will have a positive net gain for the player if he buys the other crafting components at their wipe average price or below. He will also need 50 of those wires for his hideout alone, the weapons rack and shooting range especially. I could use those 200 wires in a casual week of crafting even now at level 50.
