I’ve only been able to throw around 170’ forehand but after watching this, I just tossed one 225’. Still have a long way to go but I’ve only been playing for a few months and it was pretty much all backhand.

bodanza had someone tell him to "throw the lefty back hand" and once I heard that it SO helped with my distance clearing the curtain seems like a slightly less aggressive version haha

Thank you for the videos. Great tips. I have seen me in so many errors. Will def. try to implement a lot one by one in the next months

I’m very new to disc golf and find I like throwing forehand. All of the advice on footwork is very similar to classic closed stance tennis forehand. But tennis changed and everyone hits open stance, meaning they hit off the back foot not front foot. I’m curious about why this isn’t used in disc throwing. Baseball hitting is also off the back foot. Is the difference maybe the run up? Tennis is more lateral and baseball is stationary. I wonder if you could test open and closed stance.

Honestly, whatever works for you and causes minimal wear on your body. If it works, why fix it? Good food for thought though 👍

Remember Skipping rocks when I was a kid? I'm 68, and I still Skip Rocks.

I always get wobble when releasing my forehand.

One issue could be with where the disc is position (discussed in part 1). Make sure your wrist/disc are pushed back to give yourself as much spin as possible 👍
