Thanks for letting me spot on hole 12, the gunnite dam. That hole is impossible to know if you are in bounds if you don't have a spotter and I've spotted that hole for the Shelly Sharp and Memorial a few times.

Video idea: get a wheel numbered 1-4. What ever number it lands on, that is the number of fingers(plus thumb) the player get's to use for a grip for the rest of the hole. For added fun before the player spins they must pick BH or FH for the shot off the tee, subsequent shots can be which ever.

We don’t have woods in the desert. It’s all we have, so it’s all we know. There are corses with more trees than Vista, but to get real woods golf we need to drive 3 hours or so to northern Arizona where there are courses in pine forests.

Hole 1 is played as a triple mando for the Shelly Sharpe and Memorial tournaments, which is the layout they were playing. For the tournaments, there would be a 'gate' there designating the triple mando.

Most people play starting at hole 12. On uDisc it is called the Local Route. Plus they were playing the long version which is played for the Shelly Sharp and Memorial tournaments....for those hoel 12 is hole 1.
