It was16 vs 16. They banned any nades especially smoke so your PC do not blow up.

I'm curious what the new hardcoded limit is for source 2, for the source engine in general the hard limit was 254, and individual games might have another hardcoded limit like l4d2's hardcoded 32 limit.

@@TheGreatGG7 31v32 max bro. There is a player known as 'third person view' which means if u died, u can spectating other players. So the max capacity of a server is 63 onl players + 1 third person view for all those players

I miss this... maybe not to this extent since I have never tried a 30 v 30 but I ran a public server from 2000-2006 that was 16 v 16 casual. It was awesome because you had your crazy fast paced players and then your campers. With how little the servers are today (10 v 10 but certainly it doesn't usually stay at that) it has hurt the casual feel in my opinion.
