I really don't like the AI eyes on every word I write on a Google server. I've been using Bard sometimes, mostly because it's much faster than OpenAI and seems less censored. OpenAI and Microsoft are too trigger-happy with refusing to answer, kicking, and banning users. I haven't used Bing AI in months for this reason, and GPT-4 only occasionally for the harder questions.

So, now Bard can make stuff up directly into my documents 😂

this was definitely a very smart move from google because the advantage that google has over all the tech companies in the world is its vast ecosystem ranging from emails to yt to cloud services and google used that advantage by integrating everything together in a single interface

Thanks for another of your videos, they are great. I was equally impressed with this swathe of updates from google, but i did notice one factor which concerned me, as google have clearly not resolved their issue with hallucinations. When you asked google to check its facts (at 09:40 in the video), it stated that “the head of state is the monarch, currently Queen Elizabeth” and then confirmed that this fact was apparently correct (green highlighting). However, the Queen died last year, and Charles has been the monarch since this time.

What were you smoking when you asked the question in general. Maybe bard gave to best answer to a crazy question based on its word associations. Again, LLMs, are just the 1st wave. Picture pong or Atari in 1980s compared to Microsoft flight sims in 2023. These system will have more alignment, more reasoning added to them, picture linking Bard or GPT4 with IBM Watson. Or IBM Debater. In time many systems & apps will all be interacting with each other at the speed of thought Compared to using 1980s search boxes compared to today's are better at using natural language.

I asked last 5 emails. Not too crazy of a question imo. 😂 I asked both in english and turkish too. I'm using chatgpt, bing and copilot at work for development. no such issues happen. this is why i feel disappointed. I'll check if this is some configuration issue.

"Bard is crushing GPT in regards to integration to all Google specific applications, to which there are many" I believe is a more accurate statement, to which I completely agree. In my opinion, "Microsoft Hyperwrite", is Microsoft's attempt to compete with Bard. It has dazzled me to similar degrees (you are obviously very excited about this), but currently is comparing apples to oranges. We are in infancy on how to apply these new tools ~ This I am sure of.

Uhm... I had a different experience with Bard when turning all those extensions on. While you can ask questions about a KZbin channel. Here are the questions I asked where I got a "Sorry, I can't" from Google Bard. The content I selected for the example is just what I was watching last. * Could you create a Google Doc from the transcript of the latest video, "Free Drive Cloning Applications" on the KZbin "Explaining Computers" channel? * Could you summarize the transcript of the latest video, "Free Drive Cloning Applications" on the KZbin "Explaining Computers" channel? * Could you display the transcript of the latest video, "Free Drive Cloning Applications" on the KZbin "Explaining Computers" channel? * What information from a KZbin video can Google Bard access? Please provide a detailed list. * What time and date was the latest video from the KZbin Channel Explaining Computers posted? Even though, when I ask it, "What is the latest video from Explaining Computers" It shows the video in the text it has the date and time posted Then, Google Bard displayed a popup, " Mention a specific extension Quickly select from your available Extensions by using "@" in front of the name" When I asked Google Bard to explain what the popup meant in more detailed several different ways, it didn't understand and kept giving me answers that were about Visual Studio Code Again, I realize that using any AI is about phrasing your questions correctly, I haven't seen good videos on how to do these things. Basically, being able to access normal metadata like channel content, time and date of posts would be useful and accessing transcripts especially so. I do that now but I take a good amount of python code and a dedicated computer. Also, just being able to delete all the email from a particular sender from the AI would be a giant step forward. Let me know if I'm using the tool incorrectly and there is a way to access this information from Google Bard. My ChatGPT experience got worlds better by configuring the beginning statement thing in the configuration telling ChatGPT how to analyze my requests. I find your videos informative. @@pumych sort of. It gets scanned for spam and malware, the images are cached, and it is auto sorted by an algorithm. Google no longer scans emails for ad data as of 2017. For "features," people will turn back on the "Google please Invade my Colon" feature that was turned off.

You said if you could prompt it to create a video you'd be out of a job. I feel we are still sometime from it doing it better than humans. But what happens when its 50% there or 75% there. Out entire system is based on capitalism with social entities. Google main income is Ads based. When too many folks are not able to work then corporations loose as well. Even if everyone eas on social security or a future UBI that would cover basic needs, not purchasing apple visor at $3000. Interesting times

Yeah I've been on this today. The integration is cool and can't wait to see it get better. However I still think out of the more popular llms, bard is one of the worst major for hallucinating. But this can all be solved I guess

Yes, this tech is trippy cool. And Google doesn't need to read everyone's emails. Hopefully it would be a encrypted interaction like Apple uses with many of its items. Privacy is in some aspect might be over. If we wish for future tech to help & learn about us then it would need info & access about us to do so. But being paranoid, in the wrong hands yes, there could be massive missuse or mistrust in future system. And it doesn't need human eyes either. Multiple Bots interacting. Say I want a new job or switch my home or auto insurance & companies bots search through all my past youtube history, emails before they setup a job interview or charge me higher rates based on something if found disturbing. Or sent an alert that one of my hobbies is car racing on weekends at the track & it suddenly charges me more. Interesting & challenging times. I know some corporations require one to open their Facebook & social media accounts so they can verify you won't be an outspoken employee or have negatively influenced actions in past.
