I only started playing daggerfall this year i never knew you could talk to enemies and have them join you this game continues to surprise me i love it

Normally the game would check your language skills to attempt to pacify the enemy I believe. But I'm actually using a mod called Language Skill Overhaul that allows me to make a few direct attempts to pacify the enemy and subsequently talk to them to try to make them your follower. The language skill without the mod is otherwise very impractical though.
