"Installed Capacity: 6800MW". Capacity is an amount of energy (e.g. 1MWh). 6800MW is an energy output. Example: An light bulb consumes 60W. In one hour it consumes 60W * 1h = 60Wh. In two hours 60W*2h = 120Wh. So we differentiate between a snapshot and a consumed quantity over a period of time. Classic mistake ;-) But the difference is very important. If this reservoir has 6800MW power, it can supply x buildings. If the reservoir has 6800MWh capacity, it can supply X houses for a time of Y hours, where X*Y=megawatt hours of the reservoir. In that context the word capacity actually means the power in MW. It's the maximum rate it can run at. I think they have much more stored energy capacity than just a few GWh.

@@illuminate4622 That may be true. But I think it is important to explain the difference between an amount of energy and an energy flow and to apply it correctly. Especially if the video deals exclusively with this, such mistakes should not happen. Or is that too strict?
