I think the point I made was what was he thinking posting this. It doesn't make him look any better than the ESF instructor.

As usual a massive overreaction from an ESF instructor. A low speed impact, causing her to fall over more than anything. Guy didnt do himself any favours follo 1:32 wing his mistake, you don't leave an incident. 1:32

It seems all he hurt was the instructor's mentality.

Her reaction is understandable He could've hit a kid like that and he just got lucky no one got hurt I ski since I was 4 years old and never hit a stranger, even though I like to ski faster than I should sometimes

Huh???? An extremely minor, slow-speed, low impact collision resulting in the guy getting assaulted by the IDIOT ski instructor and you call him the idiot??? He tried to apologize and she assaults him. I would flee too. SHE should be arrested for assault/battery.

ok. So he should be arrested for hit and run

@ yeah, I don’t think anyone would fault him for fleeing an assailant. He stopped apologized and she assaulted him lol. Is the instructor your girlfriend or something? Also I don’t think “hit & run” is a thing on the slopes, regardless, she clearly wasn’t injured so I don’t believe he had any duty to remain.

FIS Code of Conduct Rule 10 Identification - Every skier or snowboarder and witness, whether a responsible party or not, must exchange names and addresses following an accident.

It appears the employee(instructor) hit or attempted to hit the guy with her right pole, twice. That's assault in the States whether she hit him or not. 2:15 She appears to reach out to grab him. That's battery if she touched him. Not her place to put her hands on people. Looks like no one was injured and it was just an accident. What a gross overreaction by the employee. Not her place. She's an instructor, with a class that she left, to go after this guy after trying to hit him with her poles and put her hands on him. I would have skied away from this lunatic, too. He was calm, apologized, then was basically attacked by an employee of the ski hill. Guy is a rock. Instructor is a kook.

Crashing into a ski instructor - Assault. Fleeing from an accident - Hit and Run. Behaving overly entitled - POTUS

Do you really think he skied into her with intent to harm or intimidate? He apologized and appears to engage in a convo with her. If somebody attempted to grab you in an agitated state then swung a weapon at you twice, would you hang around. Is grabbing and assaulting him how employees obtain information from guests. This 'lady' was way out of her lane, above her pay grade, call it whatever. I really hope this video is satire!

@@majo-ty3qq No he crashed into her because he's a crap skier. There is ample room down the left side of the piste. He was going to fast on a piste that was above this grade. She is talking to him and asking him questions (like his address) and all he is muttering "I'm sorry" while trying to run away. He is moving away which is the reason she is trying to stop him. If you are using the word "assaulting" for the ski instructor then you should also use the same word for Simon. I'm no fan of ESF instructors but when you see having to dealing with collisions, hit and run it gives all British skiers a bad name.

I agree, what an idiot "skier" either he did not have control or he went in to make a "fun" video and I understand the instructor's anger (but she should have stayed with the group). We had a similar accident this year where an idiot run down 4 kids with 1 kid ending up with a broken collarbone.

Always ski in below a group or whoever you are with.. exact reason for that demonstrated here.
@skiingfast1

You can also stop to the side and slowly blend into the group above, below or between the other members. The key is to stop in a different fall line.
