"John was not medically trained.... He was a serial killer." When I tell you, that threw me...💀💀💀. What a plot twist!!

@@jonathansmith1275 Nice job liking your own comment. Anyway, I should’ve clarified that the “serial killer” part was unexpected for me. When @MrBallen started talking about the device he used on Beryl, I immediately began to get skeptical, but when he unexpectedly said he was a whole-ass serial killer, that’s what creeped me out. The way he said it sounded unexpected.

Damn, this is so upsetting to hear. A guy who already struggled with a severe chronic illness, failed by so many systems and many people who never bothered to help or accommodate him through his whole life. But then, the ONE person who offers to help him and his wife later on, is a serial killer who preys on his naïveté and kills his wife and daughter, and sets him up for their murders. This man died alone, believing he’d failed his family. He was failed by so many people, to the very end when the floor gave out under his bad foot.

I'm at the 12 minute mark and he's describing what a smart, respected war hero John is and how he's so different than Timothy yet he lives in the same ghetto area as Timothy? I would think a man of that stature could and would live in a better neighborhood.
@downbeatdialga13412 жыл бұрын
Another thing, I’d imagine that the police were also so quick to write off Tim as the culprit, because of the stigmas that were applied to people with physical and/or neurological conditions, especially that many decades ago in the 1940s. And 44:40, It’s like Kidd said earlier in the video, since John was likely a renowned figure in his community for having been in armed forces and a former officer, they probably went easier on him. Thank goodness he still got the death penalty while they felt like still having it 😒

There is an amazing film about this called "10 Rillington place" starring richard Attenborough (brother of David the natural world TV presenter) and John hurt.

I'm sure he was able to brainwash Timothy into lying about his wife's death because first thing he was a father figure and also because Timothy had a low iq so he certainly was not familiar with all the legal terms and acquisition against him.

I might be wrong, but I think the posthumous pardon is done more for the remaining family members than for the deceased, so they don't have to keep living in shame when they had no reason to...? 🤷♀

This is why everyone should be against the death penalty. This still happens today and if we can save one innocent person from death it’s worth it. There’s other ways to punish horrible criminals.

And then in the case of Chandler Halderson, now here's a young man who had his whole life given to him on a silver platter. Loving family, found love, nice home many opportinities and He Lied to avoid it all. To run away from everyone and everything. Where as Timmothy lied to live every opportunity that life presented to him. And his "Father figure" let him down. Thats why im grateful for my struggles. I dont have to lie about nothin' and i own up to all of my mistakes. And most importantly im not a sucker. I Can't be taken advantage of. ✌💯
