I agree. I think Pastor John is saying there are more than one kind of spiritual beings that occupy Heaven. Traditionally, we called them all angels. Some people do not consider cherubim to be angels. They are both spirits of light. If you have this view of angels, then Pastor John may be right.

I appreciate Pastor John’s teaching, but there is language in Revelation that points to past events. In Rev 5, we see for a moment no one was worthy to open the scroll. Then the Lamb became worthy. Then in Rev 12, we see the woman, a caricature of Israel, pregnant with Jesus. Also, the serpent drew 1/3 of the stars could have been in the past. The scripture does not say the dragon will take draw 1/3 of the stars.

Say for eg. a man who dies prematurely due to some reason like suicide or unwanted diseases, then his spirit will remain in earth for some god allowed time, then they may turn to demons in due course as they were disobeying and disqualified for some reasons.

Angels. What is the defination. Many types. Isnt it. Lucifer was a type of Angel too right. Is he chained n imprisoned. He is free to acess God according to the book of Job. The Prince of Persia in Daniel. Was the Fallen Prince imprisoned. Or was the Prince of Persia a demon. I dont know. Demons are not fallen angels true. But are all types of fallen angels imprisoned.

Sir Satan himself is a fallen one. Look at Isaiah 14:12-15. Then Revelation 12:7 said the dragon (Satan) and his angels fought. So Satan had some loyalists. When he wanted to exalt himself. I don't think he could have done that alone. He sold the idea to his angels who rebelled along side him. The sin of angels you read in 2nd peter is explained better in Jude 1:6-7. The sin was having sex with men. Here, the scripture says these angels, as well as the people that went after them (which Jude calls strange flesh) are reserved in hell. The other fallen angels are not in hell, and these are those who have other rebellion other than having sex with mankind. God didn't make rebels. He made beings but with free will. They were all on his side until they rebelled and are now referred to as fallen. The 2 types of rebellion recorded in the scriptures are leaving their estate to (1) exalt above God and (2) reduce themselves to have sex like mortal men. Only category 2 are in hell.
