I once delivered furniture to some rich dude on the bridle path in Toronto. Guy had it all, the movie room he never used, the bowling alley he never bowled in, and the fifteen bedrooms he never used. It was just him, his wife, his kid, the maids, and the nanny. I remember he told me it was about six people in total. Little Jewish guy who told me he was in banking, yeah. My perfect place was a penthouse on Orange Beach a three bed three & 1/2 bath at 3800 square feet tastefully pre furnished with 2 outdoor pools & 1 indoor pool, sauna, gym, restaurant, 2 parking spots in a parking deck & direct access to the beach.

I used to live in a mansion here in Karaka New Zealand,, it was just me in it... it was so big i never actually went in all the rooms,, but it was cold and lonely,, i ended up using one room,, for my bedroom and lounge, as it has a bathroom next door,, and sometimes at night ghosts would freak me out.. i left and never went back

Niles Niami is insanely crazy!!From $500 million down to $340 million down to $295 million finally sold for $126 million at an auction..that’s a 58% discount!! I think these Mega mansions are beautiful but a time like this with inflation on a rapid record breaking rise, who wants to spend half a billion on a house?! 🧐 These cribs are designed for people with supreme power and it took the one 10 years to finish and sold still with unfinished work. Niles’s was in a big hole with $190 million in debt and defaulted loans on this property..Niles borrowed tens of millions of dollars for the construction from other investors who didn’t want to invest no more money because they knew Niles’s was from a different planet 😂 The One still needs about $20 million to finish construction and that could take more than a few months, that’s why the price dropped dramatically!!!!🤦🏽‍♂️ This is a major disappointment for the mega mansions developer! Now Niles must repay all these loans after he promised a $500 million buy for this mansion..that’s a $340 million loss, he pissed off a lot of investors!! They say be careful what you wish for..taxes and the mortgage..sheeshh that’s another story!

The One is far from the largest mansion in the US, let alone the rest of the planet. The Biltmore House (built by the Vanderbilts as a single family home) in Asherville NC is over 178,000 sq/ft and has 8,000 acres of grounds. The Wentworth Woodhouse estate in Yorkshire is over 250,000 sq/ft and has over 300 rooms. Both were build as private residences.

The ONE is the largest "urban" mansion. That is the differentiation that the narrator missed. He also missed that the ONE has 42 bathrooms and the garage will hold 50 cars. This place has gone into foreclosure. It is to be auctioned off by creditors in early February 2022.

The Biltmore House in Asheville NC at over 175,000 square feet dwarfs your number one. Still enjoy the video though. It’s still privately owned by descendants of the Vanderbilts.
