Paldea had a few "unsolved mysteries" as well. The unfilled upper right corner of the Paldea map, that locked blue door in the Area Zero Gate. ORAS also had its "Battle Frontier project" and there's even a call back to "You're not the one" in Mt. Pyre. To me it feels not so much a fun mystery to speculate on, and more like the remnants from a scrapped side quest that Gamefreak didn't have enough time or resources to properly flesh out. As somebody who was bummed that we never got a Pokemon Grey or BW3 that reveals the original dragon, I'm someone who's fully in the party of leaving no threads dangling.

Dude, I agree with your entire video. I highly doubt Gamefreak will answer all our burning Kalos questions and mysteries, especially if the whole game will take place in Kalos. I actually expect the game to leave breadcrumbs for older mysteries and introduce several new ones
