Thanks for the amazing recipe and for your hard work in teaching us 💙 Kindly, I would love to know what are the best oils to include in formulations that are for the skin, there are alot of different types and suggestions and I am kind off lost between which ones to choose 😅 I am planning to launch a body butter/lotion business and mainly decided to have avocado oil and sweet almod oil in them but I would love to have an advice from someone experienced in formulations like you, so any tips regarding this matter would be really appreciated 💕 Thanks in advance Marie 💙
I have always wanted to make my own cosmetics but now I feel like I need to start making them. I found an incredible hair conditioner butter a year ago or so, but sadly it has been taken off the shelves in Europe. I decided to recreate it and make it even more natural than the original. Some of the ingredients are unknown to me, though. Also, I need to research what ratio I should use to recreate the thing as I'm planning to make this conditioner for years to come, as it is by far the best conditioner I have ever had (and probably will ever have). So I don't mind the money and the experimentation that goes with it, I am on a mission here. 😄 Can you maybe add these ingredients in your encyclopedia? Adansonia digitata seed oil Irvingia gabonensis kernel butter Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract Pyrus communis (pear) twig extract Chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract Gardenia taitensis flower extract Thank you!

My hand soap, shampoos and dish detergents keep separating oils and surfactants. You can clearly see the separation.

Would you mind if I asked where I can find a few of your goidies? 1) Your cutesy saucers for small ingredients 2) the small spoon/spatulas? They are a cutesy must have!

I hv found quite a few of Marie’s lab tools by doing a search for “laboratory supplies” or “small spatula” on Amazon…you will see a lot of these items are on there.

I'm afraid this question doesn't have an answer-it's kind of like asking how many bites of food you should eat in a day. It depends :) Watch this video for more info: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zme2f6OYeJyJptU. Happy making!

Please help me, I have tried tu use Sodium Lactate in lotions but the lotion get separated, I have tried with different emulsifiers like BTMS 25, Cera Lanette NF and nothing 😢....which emulsifier do you suggest pls.
@HumblebeeAndMe Жыл бұрын
Check out some of the formulations I've shared using sodium lactate for guidance/some ideas :) It's not just about the emulsifier, the whole formulation matters. Look up sodium lactate in the free Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/) for a list!

I have two; look it up in the Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/) and scroll down for links. That said, I think this ingredient is extremely mediocre. I don't recommend spending your money on it. It doesn't work anywhere near as well as BTMS or BTMC :(

@@sylviayakubu6575 yeah, I found there was quite the chasm between what is said about it and how it actually performs. I’d stick with BTMS or BTMC.
