Dont forget that LR kale and cauilifla caused dokan to change the way that Ki is calculated for Super attacks due to a bug that allowed them to get more than 24 ki when attacking on Their ultra supers. This caused them to do SO MUCH DAMAGE that no other unit in the game compared.

Yeah no STR Gohan isn't as high level as STR Gogeta was. With him it was either you have him or your account is worthless. Gohan starts strong, but has serious competition later in fights. SSBE can get comparable and even better levels of defense and do more damage. Broly outright does more damage. The point I'm getting at is that there are a lot of units in a similar realm and there are a lot of OP units that can carry a team he isn't on without fail. There wasn't units like that in STR Gogetas time. It was Him and Him alone.

In terms of power vs rest of the game, Gohan is way more of a powercreep than 7th anni LR's, but in terms of impact, (so far) Gohan falls behind. Doesn't mean it's his fault tho.

I would argue AGL Super Vegito should've been on here. He decimated the game. There was no event that you couldn't beat if you had him (unless it didn't allow Super AGL characters or non-F2P characters). He was far above the other God Leads, and he helped the Neo-God Leads get going with AGL SSJ4 Vegeta's team (which him and STR SSJ4 Goku should've been on there as well imo).

Piccolo is actually a hall-of-famer 8th anni units release, piccolo still is #1 An entire year of releases follows, still #1, only contested by gohan and bulma 9th anniversary drops, insane power creep, almost the entire pre-anni top 10 is pushed off the list. And yet, piccolo still stands strong at #5, above even one of the part-1 LRs

I regret spending coins on the 8th year Majin Duo. Compared to the value I've gotten out of the 7th ani units, these 8th year ones... just aren't as useable. The standby stuff is harder to use than just "punch until strong enough to survive then evolve to punch harder" 😂 I started Dokkan with just a month or so before 7th ani... almost rainbowed GT monkeys looking for SS4 Goku ended up buying him on coins, allllll f2p xD

he is kinda bad, the fusion condition is terrible and you don't heal from it like the str vegito, he also is somewhat weak when not fused and only does good damaged with all 7 links when fused, the only good thing about him is the active skill with the guaranteed dodge, and their ability to guard and to dodge in slot 1 when unfused

Ginyu wasn't necessarily a powercreep, he was just a top-notch example of a perfectly-designed unit and a good release. As for LR Gogeta and Broly, they introduced absolutely no powercreep, their level was already established, and the fact that LR Piccolo is better than them proves it. LR Cooler on the other hand is debatable.

Beast Gohan's only weakness is his banner... as in you have to be lucky to pull him. One friend got three copies in his first pull, while another friend got 1 copy 1.5k stones in. Gacha really is the true gatekeeper

Usually these lists are on point but this one just ain’t it. Of course everything here is just opinions and subjective but I think you focused too much on the abilities of the characters rather than the gap between them and the rest of the game and how their kits affected the rest of the game. For example any character who wasn’t #1 on release should just be kicked off this list imo.

Many characters were simply good but didn't create a powercreep. Ginyu for example was just a well designed unit. Other characters like AGL Vegito are more deserving a place on this list. He introduced counters and the 70% percent leaders

i think one of the top 5 most overpowered releases is the INT LR Gohan. the first summonable LR. I pulled him when he came out and it was damn near impossible to get him, but he was defintely my top 3 overpowered units I've ever had upon release.

Too this day I still believe STR Cooler was truly the beginning of the powercreep in Dokkan. Nobody was better then him. Not to mention his team was stacked as FUCK. After him almost every character after his release was broken in some way. Only rarely did we ever get units like Raditz (and even then everyone is better then Raditz)

@@KurapikaStan Fair. But I feel like that was more-so because they had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Dokkan was an entirely different game during Y1 and even Y2. Y3 is where they realized the game they wanted to make and it’s just been up from there. It’s also why that scenario has never happened again, because they now know what they’re doing (granted you can’t do certain events without certain units nowadays but that’s too be expected in a game like this)

I love that while Beast is truly the greatest of all time that we've ever gotten unit...STR Super Gogeta is still the one who really changed the game and kickstarted powercreep. He was HIM. You ran him on a Mono AGL team because he was that good that he didn't need a leader skill. I really wanna see him get a 2nd EZA if they implement that, I want the King to return...also where is AGL Super Vegito? He was heads and shoulders the most important Mono type leader release until probably the 2nd Year ssj4s.

Gogeta was the end all be all. You either had him or you reroll. With vegito you atleast had buu and omega and buu team was one of the best at the time.

Omega came out in February, and Vegito in Nov. That means that Vegito only had one month less than Gogeta had with no solid options. And even at that, the other options weren't even close to him, AND once vegito came out it was no contest between him and gogeta, AND vegito lasted waaaay longer before facing a true equivalent or superior than gogeta in phys vegito blue in April. Even including that, agl super vegito was far closer to the power of phy VB compaired to gogeta vs agl vegito @@Tha-Gayle

When the god leads came you used gogeta to get their medals. Yes vegito was a better unit but gogeta wasn't obsolete. When gogeta dropped, you had to have him or your account was worthless. Dokkan has never been in a state like that ever since and it probably will never happen again imo.
