It should have got a 13 or 14ltr fuel tank . Because with a 12ltr fuel tank the the usable tank range is only 10ltr which amounts to 250kms if you ride in city and get a mileage of 25kmpl . Even if you go touring then also you are not getting more than 320kms of tank range which is not much if you want to do long distance touring. The 390 duke would be a better option for touring with its 15ltr fuel tank. Other than that NS400Z is a lovely bike for its price ❤.

Instead of giving cheapest 400cc NS 400z bike, if Bajaj has added another 50/60K more for full body fairing and given a flagship F400; then it would have been an ultimate Pulsar. Look at the TVS Apache RR310. Such a big, beautiful and pure sport bike. Or the costly Yamaha R3. Honda did the same mistake with the 300F which should have been a faired bike between 2.50 to 3.00 lakh mark. But a costly Hornet. If I have to buy a naked bike in the 300cc+ power, either I will end up with a full metal bike e.g. RE350s or CB350s or Maverick/X440 or a full faired bike like Apache 310RR/BMW 310R/Ninja 300. But not a naked plastic/fiber bike like 400Z or 300F or 300R at all.
