I have no idea why Gameloft nerfed a car which priced for $5000 in a sudden. For real, I will not oppose the nerf, but Gameloft should do it better. Especialy when adding a car which will completely change the game.

The only issue is that everyone who owns this car paid more than 300 USD to own it with some spending up to 1000s of dollars to completely max it. Gameloft should consider this when changing the car's stats because right now, those whales no longer have what they spent their tons of money on. This is why I don't spend money on video games.

@Facelessgmg Devel Sixteen in real life was a car that was presented in Dubai at the end of 2013, DEVEL MOTORS presented the best car of all reaching a maximum speed of 560km per hour now it was a scam in 2017 they began to see suspicions that the prototype was a scam and it didn't even reach 410km and so on in 2018 and 2019 until in 2022 it was discovered that it was a scam and in 2023 the lie could no longer be hidden GAMELOFT has only updated the car to what it really runs so technically due to ignorance they lost their money.

This car also, made the community even more divided. Even the nerf, there's several picking fights between those who spent it and those who didnt spent it on DS9 (F2Ps.) Huge fire made by devs for not doing balancing in the first place. Also they're kinda made "point of no return" unfortunately with this car. No matter what side they go for they just made the opposite choice community upset.

Gameloft should not make the Devel so broken at the very beginning. Otherwise, it will just end up like this, no matter nerfing the Devel later or remain the Devel unchanged will also make the community upset

As a high skilled devel driver, this car can still drift at 450 in wide turns but it also lose alot of speen when airborne, I can confirm with good skills you can set better lap times with jesko now, what a stupid move by gameloft

It's actually very realistic- when they announced the D16 (in reality) it was going to be this V16 hyperbeast. When it was finally launched 10 years after announcing... it was a V8 with performance figures well below what was projected.

Some vehicles have a remarkable maximum speed relative to their rank. The problem is that it is difficult to reach because the handling and duration of the nitroglycerin are poor (big loss of speed without having time to accelerate sufficiently). You didn’t need to spend 5.000. If you had the F5 at enough stars 1K was enough to gold it. But that‘s still a ton of money for a game. They knew how OP the car was and they did nothing in the first place. They advertised it, took the money and waited half a year for the next top car to arrive. This is fraud, period. The dumb thing from their side is, that i for example won‘t spent a cent on the new jesko. As you said … who knows when the next nerf comes around the corner.

The fact remains that f2p players will never get on equal grounds with p2p players since the high class cars added every patch are not even obtainable by f2p players. So, its a futile effort to shorten the gap between them. So imo, this nerf makes no sense whatsoever

They know they wanted to keep the Absolut since they need to adhere the Koeg requirements so they decided to nerf two king cars in the process, which are already screwed up and disappointed for players rather than following C9 way with adding one more class cars (which is a good way) and reorganize the garage. I think it is just lazy for the global devs. This is just the parent company, Vivendi, a public company that owns them, get away for this, for the sake of investors. And GL is just not following the C9 route and kept their words and do the things that players don't want like nerfing.

to be fair devel was more like a prank car. going at insane speed on cairo loop is an absurd even for an arcade racing game (don't put A8 here). but also devel was useless on ramps. it was having issues taking ramps losing a lot of speed and i heard reports of overly sensitive and unpredictable steering. now devel is fitting more to the meta, but I think drifting radious could be better.

There is a game called war robots that do same thing gl did to tye devel. Release broken items, and nerf to a point where using it is utter pain. The game wasn't like this all the time, it had a golden age that the community misses where the game was 100% f2p. I really hope that ALU goes to the same direction as war robots, because people at war robots really hate their game

A nerf was needed, but this was too much. I dont have the car but its drifting (radius and speed) is now worse than the Jesko. They gotta increase its radius and speed up to Jesko or Venom level.

I got the Devel in DS8 and I spent $550 with 0 cars 0 blueprints at the beginning. I got up to 6 stars and 8 epics with that $550. No idea where that $5000 is coming from.

The Devel was okay as it is because it performs poorly on tracks with lots of ramps like Path of Wind. Merging the drift speed down to 500 and the ground accel would have made sense but 400? Hell, even the Jesko and CC850 can perform faster drifts at this point.

I've heard 'bout the neft of Venom but he's still useful and OP. However, Devel case was went so far. I hope that GL just make that to tempt player farm for absolute, then buff Devel again with a balace power like continuous punch driffing to keep high speed (i love that, it looks cool) or some prices that he must pay for mad speed. Maybe decrease the severeness of DS9 for apologise player, i've played Asphalt 9/ Unite for along time, i love it and i dont want A9/U die senselessly
