Nothing i said really gave him any praise aside from acknowledging that the champsionships he won in Miami helped build his legacy. Calling his decision to leave Cleveland a screw up makes no sense. Again, he was always going to be a polarizing player based on his level of talent and fame. If people hate him today, its most likely because they hate his comparisons to other great players or because of his political opinions. My wife went to med school on Cleveland and nobody there really cares about him leaving. When he came back in 2014 most of the city forgave him and the few other holdouts definitely forgave him when Cleveland won the championship. To compare LeBron leaving Cleveland to Babe Ruth being traded makes no sense. There is literally the superstition of the curse of the bambino associated with this event. As WSD said, baby Ruth trade became part of baseball history and culture. LeBron leaving Cleveland had nowhere near the impact.
