I once was at a bouldering gym where our national youth team trained. Those little kids crushed nearly everything. I felt so weak compared to them. Gotta be fun when you accidentally go bouldering on the day the German and Slovenia team show up.

Yesterday at the WC in Seoul those boulders felt pretty new/different, there even was one at the men's comp where nobody even got the zone. Guess they step up the game this year

Thanks! 😊 The setters had prepared approximately twelve problems. The aim was to make the boulders challenging enough for the athletes to project them for a bit longer. 💪

yep, but she's fine now! she didn't compete in the asian world cups and she's not competing in the US, but I'm pretty sure she's showing up for the rest of the circuit, incluiding the championships

You need special volumes/holds, (Wide Boyz ;) so athletes who are not good at them don't injure themselves, mostly knuckles, I remember Jacob talking how he doesn’t like them mostly for that reason
