Seeing you go full tryhard is hillarious at how the enemy pales in comparison (at least the first game thats as far as I've watched as of right now). I love to see it because I never understood and did get a little titled by COD noobs that think they are good and are actually really bad and just slaves to the meta. It never made sense to me why very often the loudest trash talkers were the ones at the bottom of the enemy team saying "YOU'RE DOGSHIT KID" like..... complete denial of reality.

You've gotta play with the iron sight longbow, with the conversion. My favorite guns in mw19 were the iron sight kar98 & iron sight spr. This brings that feeling back a touch.

Jak underbarrels, the chain saw and flamethrower, can counter the Riot Shield. Weirdly, I've had success just using the melee option to get around shield. It might be the wide-ish hotbox, but revving the chain saw is unblockable.

I mean if they added like bodkin bolts to the crossbow, and give it a disable or bleed effect for if it didn't one shot (like if you shot them in the foot it'll disable, for example. You are absolutely right about "rioteers". Either nerf their defensive ability waaay more than what has been done, or just take them out of the game completely, or give new, completely unavoidable counters to them if they hit you with them.

Solution to riot shield is to do what Fortnite did and have them get knocked back and open up to be shot when the shield is shot enough. I think that’s a very decent nerf to riot shields.

OG Console and controller player here, mostly solo respawn modes, TDM, Kill Confirmed. I have a 1.2 KD and like to move around the maps rather than camp. Came back to COD after a month break. Attempted to play 4 matches but didn't finish a single one of them before quitting, because I felt the EOMM was playing too big a part. Point blank hitmakers with shotguns. What felt like nerfed akimbo renettis. Opponents getting easy one shot kills with quick scope snipers and shotguns. Aim resist. Trigger delay. Getting stuck on the map for no reason whatsoever other than a sniper has me in their sights from across the map and one shot kills me. You name it and I got it in the first 4 matches back after a month off. I'm by no means a top player, so I don't know why my gameplay felt like it did. Probably because the SBMM put me in relatively noob lobbies due to not playing for a month and the EOMM was protecting them more than usual. I quit the game after 20 minutes. I haven't even unlocked any new season 2 weapons or after market parts. The game has too much clutter. Too much to grind, instead of being able to simply play how you want to and enjoy it. I just don't have the willpower to play it anymore. I simply can not be bothered with all the unlocks and the terrible battle pass system. I have no idea how you can muster up the incentive to play this game as much as you do and as hard as you do. It's a soul destroying experience. Not dissimilar, I would imagine, to working in a 💩 9-5 job.

Riot shield counter ideas 1. Spraying at them causes to stumble exposing part of there body. (R6S idea) 2.stun them and causes them to expose part of there body as well

Honestly Fortnite did pretty good with balancing the riot shield. After a certain amount of bullets, also depending on the caliber of weapon you’re using it will knock them off balance. COD needs to do something like that too.

The riot shield is already balanced. Slower movement speed, thermites, molitovs, sticky grenades, drill charges, flame thrower, and even just a knife will kill them most of the time. Like 8/10 riot shielders go negative and get less than 5 kills a game. So if not balanced, I’d say they’re actually at a disadvantage

I bring up riot shields needing some sort of vulnerability, and people defend them to hell and back. They either bring up that, "you're bad", "that's how they work IRL", or some other bad defense favoring the Shield. I think MW3 (2011) had it so either your feet or head was visible depending on your stance. Visible damage, so you can block their view, is also acceptable.

Guy sat in a car with the stuff installed, then had it shot with a Barrett M107A1, bc he was so confident it would stop the 50BMG. Maybe a shield made of that will stop it. I can imagine how much it weighs and you Ain't walking around with that. lol

Honestly the AA rounds Field upgrade in my opinion should go through shield… just double the TTK that would make the AA rounds a viable pick & a decent shield counter, I always run it for quick reloads anyways be great to make shield players look stupid

Riot shields are the most annoying thing on the game lol. They should just make it where it doesn’t protect your back. Only your front when you are using it. Also it’s stupid how you can chuck an explosive at their feet and they won’t even budge from it as long as the shield is up.
