@@allthingssports4957 As a Mountaineer fan, I totally understand their anger. Reminds me of Neal Brown punting on 4th and inches which led to the team blowing the lead to Pitt in 2021. Cristobal was clearly the one to blame for that loss. I miss those games back when Miami and WVU were conference rivals. Fun times

I felt like this year there were so many could be upsets that just fell apart early 4th quarter. Dissapointing :/ especially when you compare it to 2007 the best season ever . Still remember watching that season as an 8 year old, what a season haha

You don't just need open field for that kind of play to work, though, you also need blockers. A big gain is meaningless there.

I absolutely loathe Miami, and absolutely love watching them get beat. However, from a football perspective, Miami got screwed; at least from what I can see. Do we have a better angle on the elbow which appears to be down before the ball comes out? And why was the ball not spotted at the half yard line when the receiver clearly went into a slide before the ball crossed the plane? These things may have already been addressed, but I don't watch or listen to the talking heads.

@@Cramer123 Yeah, I completely agree. The bone-headedness was my favorite part and I'm glad it bit him in the ass. But, those calls are very questionable; and, in the future, could be against a team I actually care about. lol

They reviewed both of these calls. The fumble play did look like he was down watching it live, but there was never a good angle showing exactly when the ball came loose. The refs stuck with the call on the field. As for the touchdown, it was kinda close, but the ball was definitely in.
