i have been growing and showing bonsai for over 50 years have to wait so many years for the trunk to thicken ..i grow in pots not in the ground..started growing the branch system on one i bought over 40 years ago..just trimmed and shaped it again so it will be ready to be called a specimen in about another 7 years time as the roots system is not quite finished i am 73 years old so should be able to finish it. ( this is why they cost so much ) there a lifetime project.
Mantap programan bonsainya, salam kenal dari Indonesia 🇮🇩

What incredibles pines...I like to think that my very old japanese black pine (probably nishikimatsu) came from this nursery...👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@bonsaidashu.jp.jpjapan96852 жыл бұрын

@dk26142 жыл бұрын
There's a Book published by Stone Lantern publishing called Pines Masterclass where there's a section dedicated to using wire. Also growing JBP from seed. Great book.

So you realy think field grow bonsai is yamadori?
@steventolley442 жыл бұрын
A misleading title. If it is a nursery/ farm then they are not yamadori. Fabulous to see non the less.
@bonsaidashu.jp.jpjapan96852 жыл бұрын
The first trees are all from nature. They are Yamadori, The second nursery is all grafted they are not Yamadori, They are Hatakegi. We take tree from the nature and plant them tto farm, theya are also Yamadori.
