Burnside and Reg were always the best two characters in this.

Seeing Burnside put his key into the Astra to lock the doors reminds me of a time when cars were fun to drive and didn't shout at you from a billion sensors hidden around the vehicle. Even better, you could control key functions whilst driving by feeling for a familiar button, dial or knob without having faff around with menus on a touchscreen that is laggy and doesn't respond if you get into your car with wet hands from the rain or from brushing snow off of the windscreen. The only knobs associated with cars these days are those who design them.

Who can live there? No wonder crime is out of control, like the guy who asked the time, hiding round corners, alleyways and bolt holes - bad idea in the 60's to build these hi rise estates.

DCI Reid had already got a tip off from the DAC prior to this hence why she already had the plan written out and Brownlow thought he had one up at the meeting, but the DAC knew it wasn't Charles as he already spoke to Kim...!

I'm glad you noticed that part where they ignored the lady they probably bashed into and yet she had the dignity to not complain and even help that officer up. They have fancy plans and programmes for community policing, whilst a simple 'thank you' and 'sorry. are you alright?' is often all that is needed.
