We need a movie about this great man, I left Tanzania mid 90s when radio one was the radio of choice habari za mshike mshike. He was a well known figure then and I never followed up his success though did hear him mentioned, till he married Jacqueline that's when I got interested again AKA udaku utatuua wambea. He came from very humble beginnings and he stayed humble, I'm inspired. Why do we with nothing become so arrogant when a billionaire like Mengi stayed grounded with all richness surrounding him? He loved young Jacqueline with all his heart bless him and I hope he died happy having her around despite the hateful jealous people spreading poison. We should all come back now and then to watch this to remind us how to carry ourselves in life. I'm proud to be Tanzanian and hope we emulate him so we can also leave a mark on this earth. May he RIP

Amazing how one of the wealthiest men around is humble " inside my heart, am poor just like the rest of the poor people, all i have belongs to God". That's powerful. This guy is so humble for his status yet he recognizes there is a God---much respect for him. Finally he joins that God he so much reverred just like all other Golden Souls! Rest in peace legend! Thanks for making us believe in humanity again!

Maybe it's a false humility. The Bible tells us to deny self and follow Christ, he is busy promoting self including publishing ego-boosting books! A humble person would not seek publicity. Nor would he disobey God by divorcing his first wife!
