I remember Billy Blanks mentioned to one of his videos "Your legs are your tires, and we do not carry spare tires, so get up and get moving! Let's go" it took that to get me to continue to keep moving forward. He is such an inspiration to me. God Bless Billy Blanks

Ive told this, story so many times. But in a nutshell. I was 19 yrs old, 250 lbs, tried everything and had given up. I saw a taebo infomercial early one morning and Billy seemed so encouraging I said this is my last try. Bought the tape, one year later I lost 91 lbs. Im 41 now, still doing taebo, still fit and strong. If it werent for Billy showing me what I could do, I dont even know if Id be here today. I can NEVER thank him enough.

Still is . Just got done working out with him , one of the 2022 videos. . Love him , got through COVID because of him 4 days a week lost 20 pounds working out in my leaving room , with his wife , daughter and once in a while other family members. God blessed you and family. 👏👏. Know you made a difference in my life . I’m in my 60’s people don’t believe it so I stop saying my age . Thank you Billy.

I used to do daily workouts in my living room to Tae-Bo Billy Blankets VHS tape 22 years ago. I didn't know he's a believer until hearing Juliann's story and now this video. Really heartbreaking to hear that people blamed him for his friend's death. Grieving the loss of his friend while simultaneously dealing with slanderous accusations, afraid for his life, and at such a young age not knowing how to cope with all that PRESSURE. God. Thank God for double recompense to make up for pain/suffering in life. And hearing Billy go to great lengths to hide dyslexia from everyone... I appreciate that Julieann pointed out that hiding secrets really affects someone's personality. My husband is a very dark-skinned African, at the very top of his business field, very successful, and we talk about how cunning black people must be in order to succeed in life. White people just go through life, work hard, and generally succeed in attaining what they want without having to be very cunning/astute/shrewd. God bless us all though; every race of people has their own advantages/disadvantages.

I earned a green belt in Kung Fu back in 1968. We didn't bow or chant; just learned how to defend yourself. What is surprising about it is once you learn to defend yourself you are LESS LIKELY to need to defend yourself. You stop looking and acting like prey.
