The Billy Goat V2 | 6 Month Review and Ramble | Pedal Assist Modes, Battery Level/Sag and Top Speed
-had the bike now for 6 months and only positive results
-some ramble talk about PAS - Pedal Assist modes and top speed
-bike Speedometer vs. GPS and wheel size setting
-so far my typical sustained top speed with 100% battery is 45-46 MPH with no or light winds and on level ground.
-you should be able to achieve this speed up if you weigh around to around 155lb
-the battery will sag if running full throttle continuously, which will affect top end speed.
-if you are still thinking about buying one, go for it!

2:27 -small hill climb
2:52 -full throttle runs and battery sag
3:33 -pedal assist modes and more about top speed with bike speedometer vs. GPS; bike speedo can be 1-2 MPH or more off even with what ever wheel size you set. So GPS is better.
7:35 -cruise around the park and some slalom
8:11 -post ride debrief
-power set to 100%
-tire size; 23.2
-start strength at 5 [max]

we'd have to ask Goat Bikes support. The settings menu only shows ODO reset.

I just bought a new Billy Goat and head light doesn’t work .The guy at goat bikes sent a new head light it also doesn’t work.my rod it and it doesn’t have any peddle pas in any setting.am I missing anything to get this working Gary G

from the manufacturer, it should be set to go for pedal assist. You need to use the button on the left side to change the speed. Hit the plus + button to increase from 0 up to 5 [or more if you have a new model]. See my video of the settings menu that I configued: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmqaY3eEmMeSf7csi=jvrf-V1UVouJD80V&t=293 As for the headlight, you might even have a bad wiring harness. I'd ask the seller to see what they can do there.

I just got a new Billy goat V2 and they sent me a faulty battery that doesn’t even WORK. Until they send me a new one which I was promised than I will be happy but at the moment I am more than frustrated! A bike that cost over 2K should not come with these problems. The owner has told me he will send me one but with no timeframe? So now I’m sitting with a Brand new bike with a broken battery. SMH

Anything you buy can have issues. I bought a new 35K car and it had issues with the suspension and brakes, but yes, it is frustrating. For your issue, make sure the battery is mounted properly, and the plug ports connect flush. The Billy Goat battery goes in with the bottom hook first then push the top part into the frame plug. Have you tried a multimeter to check the battery volts to see if it's charged? Also check out the speed controller to make sure everything is connected. It might even be a bad controller.

This guy has good info on this bg v2.....to bad you bought a goat joke bike tho..wish I hadnt..false top speed claims...horrible shipping ..hundreds of ticked off people..mine was damaged upon arrival..30 days later no parts...Bryson is not a customer first owner..it's money first..the brakes on these bikes are trash tho..I've tried every pad and adjustment out there..squeals like a dying pig...don't believe any of the paid influencers..listen to folks that actually pay for their bikes...

But if anyone has any questions, happy to help. p.s. my brakes squeak like crazy too and just deal with it. I emailed Bryson on a couple of things and haven't received an answer. Not sure what your statement means. Collaborated? I’m saying at high speeds the sensor to the speedometer is 1-2 MPH or more off. Hence GPS is better.
