Hymns that glorify God...sadly lacking today in so many services. Regards fr Indonesia.

Thank you so much for this. My mom played this on our player all my growing up years. She was convinced it was the closest to the singing in heaven on this Earth!

Wow, I never thought I'd hear a recording on youtube from 1963 that I sang in. Well, okay, as a 14 year old, and one of 5,000 in the choir. And there were more than 135,000 people in the LA Colosseum, a record that holds until today. It is wonderful to hear the praise to God. What a contrast to the strife in our society today, when we no longer give God the glory.

As an Australian old enough to have heard the 1959 choirs in person, the contrast between the American accent and the British/Australian accent is quite marked! Fabulous singing nonetheless!

Sounds nothing like the Mormons, these people knew the God they were singing of, and to..
