Swallowed M80 / 'Player explodes when taking damage' trinket seen at 1:25 has a 50% chance to activate and does synergise with all bomb items picked up - and doesn't hurt you again. Basically, if an enemy runs into you, half the time it will die. Will blow up blood donation machines and confessionals. Golden makes it 100% chance, meaning with Pyromaniac you're invincible.

I had a run with Swallowed M80 recently where the donation machine would NOT explode, but rather, pay out with both loot you would get from exploding the machine, plus your payment for playing. The animation of it receiving my donation appeared to cancel the machines explosion. If I’m the only one this happens to, lmk.

NL! If you ever notice you have three broken hearts out of nowhere, you've rerolled into Heartbreak, which allows you to survive fatal attacks, dealing damage to all enemies in the room and adding 2 more broken hearts. You won't die until your health is entirely broken. Probably wouldn't have given you much more of a chance with .3 speed but the knowledge could be worth something in the future.

NL you should get the mod that hangs the dream catcher over the drop down to the next floor- it’s been crazy helpful for me to remember to not mash through the cutscenes, a helping hand in reducing cognitive load

the mod tells you what pills (in the shop or otherwise) are if you've already taken them because you could just remember what they look like, whereas you can't tell what a card does until you pick it up

The mod will often tell you what the card is, if you don't have something in the way of you picking it up - the reason it didn't display the card is because there would be 0 way of knowing that card without making a walkable path to it
