In flash Isaac, Lucky Foot (which Cain starts with) changed bad pills to good pills. In Rebirth, this effect was removed. In Repentance, the effect was restored. Your confusion is justified.

NL Pro Tip to avoid falling ceiling spikes forever: The only ceiling spikes that fall on you during The Beast have very visible cracks on them, and they will always fall! All you gotta do is stand next to them up top until they fall and then you go through. It's super easy to dodge it once you know what you're actually looking for. 47:45 for example: The very first spike you see has those cracks on them. Take a look at that one section, and I promise you you'll never get hit by them again. NO MORE DOUBTER VICTORIES ONLY BELIEVERS!!! It's not your fault you get hit by them. It took me a billion runs to realize what was happening, and I legit think I only figured it out while watching one of your KZbin videos because it gave me the luxury of not actually being in the driver's seat. I don't think it's very easy to figure out what is happening when you're focused on just playing the game. You only notice them after they fall on you, so you never see what causes them to fall. I think The Beast is almost a perfectly designed Isaac fight. The only real problem I have is that you end up killing the final phase fast enough on 99% of runs that you never actually have a chance or even the necessity to learn the entire mechanics of the boss.

As a dad with a 1 year old it's not really feasible at this stage, you leave them on their own they're either unhappy you're not paying attention to them or getting into all of your cords. So you put them on your lap to let them watch then They're trying to grab the keyboard the whole time, and when you don't let them they get unhappy again. They're cute yeah but impossible at times 😁

I've found that dizziness is much less enjoyable as I get older. I was one of the people who enjoyed it a lot as a kid. I've also started getting carsick more frequently as I get older (for some reason it is way worse in carshare situations than in other types of car rides. It doesn't even really seem to be related to the drivers doing crazy stuff (though if they gas/brake/gas/brake that will definitely set it off), but even just the car being a weird temperature or smell or something can make it happen.

I do in fact find dizziness enjoyable, relaxing even. Spinning is stress relief for me so I hate that those hanging spinny-tires are so uncommon on playgrounds. It all likely has something to do with me becoming completely desensitized to it from doing the zipper fairground ride repeatedly when I was younger.
