Hey NL dead sea scrolls is actually pretty pog in repentance. It CAN'T hurt you any more, they took kamikaze out, but it has both book of revs and prayer card built into it's fairly limited pool.

Idk that Ascension idea just sounds like Ultra Hard + April's Fool to me. Sure it'd be a challenge, but not a fun one imo. The most important thing to make an Isaac run fun is getting fun items. Lowering the quality, or not getting any like in some challenges just turns the whole game into a slog. Tainted Lost is the right way to do it: BETTER items, but less defense. I think the most interesting approach would be to add new mechanics to enemies and bosses (taking some easy bosses out is also ok, but don't overdo it because as said, dont wanna fight Bloat every floor like in Aprils Fool). Though that would certainly be a lot of work probably. Enabling double damage from Floor 1 would also be a way to keep you on your toes.

It's from his isaac coop videos with Dan, Dan has his own entire vocabulary for the game. The Chest = Streamer Room (bc he only ever saw that level on stream), Sacrifice Room = Eddy Room (something to do with the game dev ed mcmillen), Expanded hud = Avionics The coop streams were lots of fun, highly recommend checking them out

I'm not good at Isaac. Ive played for around 200 hours now, gotten almost every character and only completed Isaacs and the losts post-it notes. The most impressive thing ive ever done in Isaac was dying to yellow champion gurglings 3 runs in a row. However, I feel even I can say that the play you did on that eddie room had to be the most braindead thing ive ever seen in my entire Isaac career. Holy shit.
